"Rolling today's kids into a healthy and confident tomorrow"

Tumbleweeds offers mobile Gymnastics, Karate & Dance Programs at your child's Preschool. That means less driving for you & more time for you and your child!
GYMNASTICS—Our Gymnastics program uses all the gymnastics equipment on a pre-school size. Tumbling, vaulting, balance beams, single bar and parallel bars are some of the apparatus used. All skills are taught using proven techniques that are both safe and fun.

Focus is on the development of balance, range of motion and coordination skills accompanied by music, while having fun with different class themes. We will also use many of the rhythmic gymnastics equipment such as the parachute, ribbons, bean bags and balls.

All classes are taught at multiple levels which insure your child will be challenged and allowed to advance at their own pace. Your child must be at least two years old to participate in this program.

KARATE—Our Karate program is for children at least four years old. We concentrate on listening and following directions and developing a “yes I can” attitude.

We follow The Parker Kenpo Karate System. Our goal is to help your child develop self-awareness, self-confidence, self-control and self defense. We accomplish this through a range of balance, strength, coordination, and movement skills. Some of the skills we will learn are blocks, strikes, sets, forms and techniques.

All students will receive a white belt to which colored stripes are added to mark their progress. There is no “sparing” in this program.

DANCE—Our Dance program is geared towards teaching children the basics of dance. A creative approach is used to inspire the imaginative, energetic, preschooler. With an emphasis on music and movement, children are sure to have fun while developing coordination skills, rhythm, self confidence and creativity. Don’t be surprised if your child comes home speaking a little french!!

They will learn basic ballet positions and steps, plie, tendue and saute. You will have to ask them what they mean! Stretching exercises using songs and marches are some of the steps taught to develop the use of their muscles and make them aware of their body. Skips, gallops, springs and marches are some of the steps taught to develop their coordination, movement skills and musicality.

Most of all it is a fun introduction to the fine art of dance. For dance your child must be at least 3 1/2 years old.
